Tifosi Ventoux

There are several sets of glasses here with the benefit of interchangeable lenses to cater for all conditions. That’s all very well as long as the changes can be done easily, but the fact is that switching from dark to light or vice versa with the Ventoux is a bit of a wrestling match. We almost felt compelled to choose our favourite and abandon the alternatives. The main reason for this is the fact that these are the only full-frame glasses on test.
This characteristic does give these glasses an appeal beyond sport alone, but when considering pure triathlon functionality we have to point out the reduced peripheral vision on offer. With the lenses finally in place they do, however, feel solid.
They also come with a nice silky bag, which you’ll be using a lot to remove the inevitable fingerprints that appear after each lens change.
