Review: Shimano Unzen U10 hydration pack

If you’re heading out into the wilds on your MTB this winter then you’ll probably need to carry a fair bit of kit.

The Unzen’s waterproof main compartment will easily swallow spare clothing, waterproofs and pads, while full-length zips on both sides and plenty of mesh pouches and dividers allow quick, easy access.

The supplied 2L bladder can be accessed independently and, in the same sleeve, you can also tweak the fit of the innovative Rider Fit X-Harness system.

This puts the shoulder straps right at the centre of your chest and delivers an incredibly stable and adjustable fit. The back panel also has excellent airflow and a nice bonus is that the big zipper loops are glove-friendly. All in all, a brilliant pack for epic days on the trails.
