Dimond Bikes has revealed its new tri-specific superbike frameset, made in Iowa to the exacting requirements of pro triathlete TJ Tollakson.

The 2014 model is made entirely from aerospace-grade carbon in Dimond's CoalWorks lab, and is claimed to have much less aerodynamic drag than rival triathlon bikes.

Features include a detachable top tube, internal cable routing, and a reversible saddle rail clamp which allows for effective seat tube angles between 77°-82°.

The frameset will go on sale in February of next year for $5,950, with pre-orders available now. Dimond tells us that UK customers will have it shipped directly from their HQ in Des Moines, Iowa.
