Ale Clima Protection Bib Tights review

Billed as bib tights for when the thermometer hits zero, Ale’s tights have very effective wind-protective panelling on the front that’s greatly appreciated in British climes.

This combines with internal thermal panels to make for a set of tights that really live up to their billing for keeping you warm.

The 4H chamois is a great platform for comfort, but our favourite touch is the shoulder straps, which are soft and offer a good degree of stretch.

The reflective seams on the back, the white logo and zippers at the ankles add a bit of visibility to the otherwise all-black tights.

While not cheap, the price is in line with offerings from competitors such as Castelli and do a similarly excellent job.

Verdict: Excellent windproof winter tights for cold-weather riding, 85%
