Review: Profile Design T4 Plus aerobars

Profile Design's T4 Plus Carbon bars are a very accommodating clip-on package, with plenty of length in the extension for reach adjustment, internal cable routing if you choose to run bar-end shifters and armrests that offer width, fore/aft and rotational adjustment.

At 605g, they’re heavier than many clip-ons, but much of that weight is due to the two J4 clamps that use a sleek wedge system to hold the extensions in place. The carbon extensions help to offset some of that weight penalty but force the price up above the 150 quid mark.

The big armrests provide plenty of support and have coarsely covered pads to offer some extra grip. As nice as the armrests are, however, they could benefit from a slightly higher lip on the inside to give a more secure hold on your arms.
