Dan has been swim coaching since 1990, holding qualifications with the ASA, BTF, ASCA and the World Open Water Swim Association. He has helped thousands get fit and faster, from their first novice triathlon to swimming The Channel. His sessions are engaging and are a perfect mixture of flawless skill, infectious motivation and tailored to open-water racing whether it's your first time in OW, a Channel Crossing or Ironman. A respected figure in the swimming community, Dan is a Speedo & Vasa coaching advisor, and coach with the London Disability Swimming Club. He also created the Virgin Active Swim Club concept ‘Hydro’ and contributed as lead coach to ’Speedo On.’ Dan’s accolades include being National Masters Open Water Champion since 2008, Former British AG Record Holder for 800m front crawl and a European & World Masters medallist. He's also completed several Ironmans and has swum 3.8km in under 45 minutes.
