Gatorade, the world’s most researched isotonic sports drink, is set to reward men and women across the UK with ‘Gatorade Gives Back’. Recognising the effort and commitment individuals at all levels put into their sport and active life, Gatorade is giving everyone the chance to redeem rewards through a new on-pack-promotion – ‘Gatorade Gives Back’.
Gatorade has teamed up with a host of exciting partners including New Balance, Polar, Power Music and Neilson Active Holidays to offer 22-million Gatorade athletes the opportunity to redeem over £1 million in rewards including top sports equipment, music downloads, money-can’t-buy experiences and sporting holidays.
To get involved, individuals will need to collect codes from each bottle of Gatorade that corresponds to a nominal points value. Codes can then be banked online (
www.gatoradegivesback.co.uk) and via text, and used to cash in on a wide range of sports-related rewards. There will also be a weekly prize draw for registered participants of the collector scheme. Each entry will require one point to be spent, with the lucky winner winning one of 52 prizes ranging from training days with Olympic athletes to entry into 2010 sporting events.
With the launch of Gatorade Gives Back, Gatorade and 220 Triathlon are ‘giving back’ with a prize fund worth over £950.
First prize includes free entry to a sponsored Gatorade event of your choice (including Blenheim and London Triathlons), along with a Polar FT60 G1 Training Computer and GPS sensor (£194.50), a pair of New Balance 1064 trainers (£89.99) and a Gatorade hydration pack (£50).
There’s also a pair of New Balance 1064 trainers up for grabs for the next three names pulled out of the hat; and a £50 Neilson holiday voucher for the next six.
As a reader of 220 Triathlon you can also claim a free credit by registering on the Sports Rewards section of
www.gatorade.co.uk and quoting ‘TRI2200210’.
