I'll be there.... volunteering! A back injury in January and Glandular Fever in April had ruined my 2014 season so thought I'd help out instead.

Apologies for hijacking the thread!
Just spotted Helen mentioned Glandular Fever and I ended up in hospital with it at the end of April. I was off work for a month and doc has banned me from travelling into work until the end of June so currently working at home. Just wondered how long it took you to get over it and return to normal training?

Yep I agree. Defo during the swim and on the bike (I found this took some concentration the first time) and I'm usually at it on the run too!
Always do it during the swim but only on bike and run on events longer than an Olympic.

I'd start with a proper bike fit if you haven't already?
The geometry of a tri bike is different to that of a road bike and as a result sizing can be different. Some people find a tri bike could be a size smaller to that of a road bike but other factors such as your flexibility can also be a factor. A £160 ish bike fit could well be worth the time and money in the long run.
The fitter should then be able to suggest brands which match your build and riding style.
I know from my session that american brand bikes would be a better fit for me due to my longer legs.

Have you looked at the training plans available via the myTri area?
They aren't free but pretty good for under a tenner.

This seems to happen if you dont logout correctly and just close the browser.

I jarred my back whilst out running on Friday evening (slipped on ice) and I'm now in a fair amount of pain. It's an old injury from 2005 when I had a nasty gymnastics accident.
It occasionally causes me an issue but hasn't been this bad since 2007 when I triggered it playing hockey.
I've booked an appointment at a local sports injury clinic for tomorrow but just spotted that my Triathlon England membership includes a free physio assessment at PhysioWorld. Just wondered if anyone had used them? The local sports injury clinic has been recommended to me by a couple of different friends so wondering if it's worth saving the money and cashing in on the free assessment at PhysioWorld?
