get out there and do the miles whether its swimming, cycling or running. Learn how to eat/drink during exercise. Stop thinking about it, stop talking about it, get out of the weights room, quit whinging, dry your eyes and get stuck in see conversation

I have used them and they are good fun but I think they offer too much of a distraction; you become more immersed in the technology and the views than on your workout. They do relieve boredom, but in some sort of Calvinistic way the boredom actually can be useful - it prepares you for getting stuck in and keeps yur focus on the work, also it hardens your mind and makes you more one tracked about winning; then again some of the whingers might like that!!!!!!!! see conversation

Campagnolo, Easton, Mavic are all good. If you are big avoid budget lighter wheels as they will flex and the bearings tend not to be as good.
Probably Mavic are the "safest option" but are seen as less exotic as the others

A few years ago I was in great shape - lean, defined, tanned and a fully shaven head. I was on the bike wearing shades a rowing singlet and shorts. Anyway I very cheekly rode up a column of cars that were stopped at lights, it must have infuriated one driver (a dumpy 50 something), because as he passed me, he shouted at me "if you try that again I will knock your ballyx in". I caught up with him at the next set of very slow lights, I calmly got off the bike strode over to him and suggested that he would not have to wait - he could have a go at knocking it in now - He grew very small and declined my offer.
Advice - avoid responding to drivers' abuse; I know of one guy who was killed because he had a go at a driver (the driver is now in prison)
