I've been lucky enough to have to oportunity to train in spain at the end of june for a week.

I'm only really looking to ride whilst out there, but have no idea how to approch it.

Its going to be at altitude, near the siera nevada,

Does anyone have any pointers see conversation

Not the reason we all do this but

I've had all sorts this year, drinks bottles, t shirts ( all tho in some races this was extra), and a bottle of beer( still cant get my head around that one).

But if you entered a race, at a cost of 35 quid what would you think is a good stash in a goody bag.

at 35 quid i recon you should have a bottle and a t shirt plus the usual gels, powder drink etc.

Is anyone interested in going to spain for a week in feb/march of next year and doing some training.

I'm trying to get 5 others to make it cost effective.

The cost would be approx £ 250- £ 300 for the week.

This would include, flights with bike, car hire in spain and the accomadation.

Food and drink is extra, and your pretty much free to do what you want when you want.

There will be a training plan, but this is still being drawn up, just general interest at this stage is all i'm after.

If you divide the time you got by the number of lengths it will give you your swim time per length.

So 8.00 (minutes) / 16 (lengths or 400 metres) = 0.50, use this for the first event of the year against the last to see if all that training has paid off.

Same as for bike/run,

And i would class myself as average, and i wont take a break either.

Instead i will try and focus on what i perceive to be my weak links, whilst continuing to train my strong events as normal.

Hopefully that way into 2010 i will break all pb's.

Besides what else is there to do,
