This is a bit brutal but works very well and the pain only lasts about 5 mins. I drain the blister and into the small hole created put in a drop or two of either antiseptic spray or after shave. YES it will STING [:@] but the next day your ready to go again with out socks. Or if a little tender use medical tape.

Read an old 220 yestarday with coneheads piece at the back I thought i looked after my bike but cleaning woth babay wipes now thats pride.

I managed 26.34 I was pleased with that and i was by no means last. Tomorrow going to try a 27mile group race around a 5 mile loop, could be interesting on the bends. Doing all this with the local cycle club to try and improve my tri cycle legs. The speeds are definatley up when with the group. see conversation

As part of an event organising club in Dorset we come across this problem for our 1st middle distance race later in the year. So just plain old middle diatance race is was and is.Under no circumstance acn you call it a 70.3 even though that is the distance.

To be honest I use shwalbe puncture proofs excellent tyres never had any problems even rode from John O'Groats to Lands End last year on a set with not one spot of bother. see conversation

I can see what conhead is saying about the breakfast as in Jan i was staying at a hotel for the Gloucester Marathon and a member of the 100 marathon club came down for brekie and had the works and asked for more, I couldn't beleive it as i sat there with my muesili.
