Aqua Sphere's Kayenne goggle is rather large and retains and unusual shape with a low profile below the eye.
Because of this sizing it's not the most streamlined goggle here, and we could feel the water buffering the goggle when diving, making it too big for races with a dive start or fast swimmers. But it was efficient during swimming, and the benefits of this size and shape are that it provides excellent visibility.
And it's unquestionably one of the best we've tested in terms of vision – both to the side when breathing and to the front when sighting in open water – due to the lens extending below the eyeline. Comfort was provided by a good amount of flexibility in the strap and an easy-to-use button system for length adjustment.
