Zoggs FX1 wetsuit – first look

New neoprene from Aussie swimsters Zoggs part of three-strong range for all abilities

With a product range that includes goggles for any eventuality, swimwear, pool aids and a full complement of Peppa Pig-branded gear for kids, the only gap in Aussie brand Zoggs' swim offering until now was a wetsuit – but that’s all set to change with their newly launched range of three suits, designed to target all ability levels.

FX1 wetsuit

The FX1 is aimed at experienced swimmers, although the zip is still top to bottom

The FX1 shown here (£330) is aimed at regular and more experienced swimmers. Zoggs claim the suit offers unparalleled flexibility through their ‘Flex’ technology, incorporating an Ultra Flex 2mm panel in the upper body and a super-stretch lining in the 1.5mm arms, giving freedom of movement in the arms and shoulders.

The suit is made from Yamamoto 39 cell neoprene with Super Composite Skin for a high level of drag resistance.

Zoggs FX1

The upper body features a 2mm Ultra Flex panel, while the suit itself is Yamamamoto 39 cell neoprene

The other suits in the range – the FX2 (£220) and FX3 (£165) – incorporate different features for intermediate swimmers and newbies to open-water, respectively. Pleasingly, though, all suits feature the bold Zoggs graphics on the arms in a selection of vibrant colours, so you’ll be easy to spot in a race…
