The Edge 200 is the bottom of Garmin’s bike computer range, but still provides plenty of bang for your buck. The main bonus with the 200 is the GPS tracking, which (being Garmin) works extremely well.

Plus, you can upload post-ride to Garmin Connect to see your data more clearly.

It’s not WiFi-equipped, and so doesn’t connect to any of Garmin’s sensors (like speed cadence or a heart-rate belt), which is a shame, but given that it’s at the budget end of the scale it’s not hugely surprising.

The screen is easy to read on the move, and it’s a synch to customise the data fields you want on the display.

Set-up is very simple, too, with the standard rubber band mount for your stem or bars. And although you might have to wait a few minutes for the GPS to find a fix, it’s pretty much ready to go straight out of the box. Another huge bonus is that it’s USB rechargeable.
