I'll probably end up eating far too much, so to relieve the guilt I shall get a run in beforehand.

No Xmas Day training for me except a few bicep curls involving bottles of Stella. Xmas day is family time for me.

I'll be out for the club long run on Xmas eve and the tempo run on Boxing Day, so that should help to make up for the over-eating etc.

Santa gave me a new pair of Asics so I had no option but to break them in 7miles and a wee sprint on a frosty morning and the shoes feel great!

I suggested to the missus that I may go for a 60 min run this morning before the kids wake up and she suggested that If I trained on Xmas day, then next year's XMas training will be no problem as I wouldnt have a family, so today's activities included little weight lifting of Turkey, plate to mouth - about 30 reps. quickly followed by similar sets of Xmas pudding and then some wine. haha
Happy Xmas to everybody
