I can't beleive I'm the first to post about this!

Chrissie has finally got some mainstream recognition for her outstanding achievements. She was announced as the winner yesterday in the 2009 Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year competition.

I've never met her, but everyone speaks about her with praise, not just her wins, but her overall approachability and attitude.

Is this the start of decent mainstream recognition of the sport?

Thats great news for Chrissie.

Maybe the BBC might sit and take notice when it comes to sports person of the year at christmas!!! Or maybe not its not a soft enough sport for them....

Only the mind sets the limits! I dont mind at all!!!!
